Leavy signs with Frontier Sports

Frontier Sports Management are extremely excited to announce the signing of Irish Olympic rugby athlete, Adam Leavy!

Adam found rugby 7’s via the 15’s game. His journey started at St Michaels’s College Dublin , where he won a Leinster Schools Senior Cup alongside his older brother Dan. His talent was spotted by Connacht Rugby, ironically while competing in a 7’s competition, and he spent a couple of successful seasons in Galway in their academy.

However, there is a sense it was always meant to be for Adam and 7’s rugby. In 2017 the Ireland 7’s setup came calling and Adam was awarded his first cap in Exeter in 2017, still an early point in the team’s journey. Since then, he has collected 19 caps for the senior 7’s side and is now a key member of the squad.

Adam’s career to date has seen him win All Ireland Leagues, Senior Cups and he has travelled the world on the HSBC world series. However, there is little doubt that an Olympic medal would sit in the centre of the trophy cabinet in the Leavy household.

Chris Best, Head of Talent at Frontier Sports Management is delighted to be working with Adam – “Adam is a fantastic athlete who has demonstrated his talent across 15’s and 7’s, he brings a real mix of power and pace to his team and will be crucial in their quest for a medal in Tokyo”. Further, Adam has worked so hard to get to this point and we want to ensure he makes the most of this next period”
